Sofia's training in architecture provided a strong foundation in spatial thinking and conceptual rigor, which over time evolved into a practice increasingly focused on interior design.
From the beginning of her professional career, she worked in leading studios, developing an approach that combines architectural discipline with a refined aesthetic sensibility.
Throughout her career, Sofia has been involved in projects at both national and international levels, exploring a wide range of scales and typologies.
In 2019, she co-founded Design Matters Studio, where she develops architecture and interior design projects, with a particular focus on hospitality, restaurants, and workspaces.
Later founded Sofia Lobo Interior Design, a studio that reflects a more personal and distinctive approach, defined by attention to detail, materiality, and the atmosphere of spaces.
Each project is conceived as a unique composition, where proportion, light, and materiality are carefully balanced to create sophisticated, timeless environments that are deeply connected to those who inhabit them.
